It keeps telling me that I may know this or that person even though I have yet to know even a single one of its suggestions (the worst and stupidest thing is when you create a new account with absolutely no information in it and Facebook\u2014and Twitter\u2014immediately start to make presumptuous suggestions about who they think you might know or like).<\/p>\n<p>How can I tell Facebook to piss the hell off and leave me the hell alone?<\/p>\n<p>No option to decline friend requests anymore? Only <code>Yes<\/code> and <code>Not Now<\/code>? What the hell is that, forcing people to be \u201cfriends\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>Twitter is no better, constantly emailing me to check out feeds of people I have nothing to do with nor any interest in.<\/p>\n<p>Both networks have an option to disable <strong>that specific notification<\/strong> at the bottom of the emails, but this means two things:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Opting out of the notification only affects that specific type of notification and has no effect on others, so you will continue to receive those (\u201clegitimate\u201d spammers use this sort of <strong>trick<\/strong> by letting you unsubscribe from <em>that specific message<\/em> which means nothing for other, future messages)<\/li>\n<p><\/p>\n<li>They automatically opt you <strong>in<\/strong> for <em>everything<\/em> and force you to manually look through the endless list of notifications and manually opt out of anything\/everything instead of opting you into only the most important things automatically and letting you choose to add more notifications like a proper site should<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Stupid social networks; SHUT UP and behave!<\/p>\n<div class=\"tagcloud\"><a href=\"https:\/\/synetech.ddns.net\/blogs\/rantinions\/tag\/spam\/\" rel=\"tag\">Spam<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/synetech.ddns.net\/blogs\/rantinions\/tag\/websites\/\" rel=\"tag\">Websites<\/a><\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Friggin\u2019 social networks!
