{"id":516,"date":"2011-07-31T23:25:41","date_gmt":"2011-08-01T04:25:41","guid":{"rendered":"synetech.ddns.net\/blogs\/glab\/?p=516"},"modified":"2012-06-09T12:52:09","modified_gmt":"2012-06-09T17:52:09","slug":"plants-vs-zombies-winning-layouts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/synetech.ddns.net\/blogs\/glab\/2011\/07\/31\/plants-vs-zombies-winning-layouts\/","title":{"rendered":"<em>Plants vs. Zombies<\/em> Winning Layouts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Here\u2019s a few screenshots of the final layout that I used to complete some of the <em>Plants vs. Zombies<\/em> levels.<\/p>\n<p>Unforunately I forgot to get rid of the menu in this one, but basically, I used a lot of winter melons and cat-tails.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Survival-Pool-Hard.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-532\" title=\"Survival - Pool (Hard)\" src=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Survival-Pool-Hard-300x232.png\" alt=\"Winning layout for PvsZ level \u201cSurvival: Pool (Hard)\u201d\" width=\"300\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s the same scenario for the roof; expensive, but worth it. Plus, I had some seed slots to spare, so I woke up a few mushrooms for the party, but they fell back asleep\u2014even one of the winter-melons dozed off. (Yes, this was the last level, allowing me to win the gold trophy.)<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Survival-Roof-Hard.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-543\" title=\"Survival - Roof (Hard)\" src=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Survival-Roof-Hard-300x232.png\" alt=\"Winning layout for PvsZ level \u201cSurvival: Roof (Hard)\u201d\" width=\"300\" height=\"232\" srcset=\"https:\/\/synetech.ddns.net\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Survival-Roof-Hard-300x232.png 300w, https:\/\/synetech.ddns.net\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Survival-Roof-Hard.png 806w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This was pretty easy because I did it during the early levels of the second pass through Adventure mode. Just don\u2019t forget the coffee beean.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Good-Morning.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-519\" title=\"Good Morning\" src=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Good-Morning-300x232.png\" alt=\"Winning layout for PvsZ achievement \u201cGood Morning\u201d\" width=\"300\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Again, this was easy because it was an early level. The spike-weeds took care of the zombies for the most part.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Shrooms.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-520\" title=\"Shrooms\" src=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Shrooms-300x232.png\" alt=\"Winning layout for PvsZ achievement \u201cShrooms\u201d\" width=\"300\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This level was fairly hard. I hand\u2019t used asymmetrical layouts or garlic until this level. I read someone on the Internet mentioning \u201cfunneling\u201d the Zombies, so I did this.<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/ZomBotany-2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-521\" title=\"ZomBotany 2\" src=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/ZomBotany-2-300x232.png\" alt=\"Winning layout for PvsZ level \u201cZomBotany 2\u201d\" width=\"300\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This was all that was needed because the snow-peas froze everyone for me (and you don\u2019t even have to plant them on the flat of the roof, the top of the slant is sufficient).<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Pogo-Party.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-522\" title=\"Pogo Party\" src=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Pogo-Party-300x232.png\" alt=\"Winning layout for PvsZ level \u201cPogo Party\u201d\" width=\"300\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The iron-spike-weeds took out the vehicles, and the fire-repeaters did the rest of the work (the nuts were a last line of defense that was barely necessary).<br \/>\n<a href=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Last-Stand.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-523\" title=\"Last Stand\" src=\"\/blogs\/glab\/files\/2011\/07\/Last-Stand-300x232.png\" alt=\"Winning layout for PvsZ level \u201cLast Stand\u201d\" width=\"300\" height=\"232\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This was one of the least resource-hungry levels.
