In 8th-grade, Maplele Middle School had someone come in to teach us sex-ed (a specialist came to do it, not just the gym-teacher). Of course there were the requisite giggles at all the stuff, the condoms-on-bananas, the drawings, etc. but the thing I remember the most is when she asked if there were any questions and Ninar Kabuti asked if a guys takes the birth-control-pill, would he grow boobs. Unsurprisingly, the class laughed, but the sex-ed teacher said it was a good questions becasue he understood that it worked by affecting hormones and thus this could/would/should be a side-effect. She explained that yes, that would indeed be the case. Good question, Ninar. 👍
